Making an Original Audio Post
Click the audio post icon to open a new audio post. The post form will look like this:
From here, you've got a few options:
- Start typing in the search bar to search for a track on Spotify or Soundcloud.
- Paste a URL from Spotify, Soundcloud, or Bandcamp.
- Paste an MP3 URL.
- It must be an HTTPS URL.
- Click the headphones icon on the right to upload an audio file from your computer
- You can upload one audio file per day.
- The file must be under 10MB.
- It must be an MP3 file.
Adding Audio to a Reblog
It's not possible to add audio to a reblog on web unless you're using the beta post editor.
Using the Beta Post Editor on Web
If you've opted into the beta post editor on the web, the post form will look a bit different. Click the audio post icon to open a new audio post, and you'll see this:
You can search for a track on Spotify or Soundcloud, or paste a URL from Spotify, Soundcloud, or Bandcamp.
We're working on support for audio uploads. In the interim, if you’d like to upload audio, use the beta toggle to switch back to the legacy post editor.

Adding Audio to a Reblog
With the beta post editor, you can add some audio to any reblog.
Put your cursor on a new line, then click the headphones icon. You'll see an audio block appear, where you can search for a track or paste a URL.
In the Apps
Tap the headphones icon in any post (a reblog or an original post) to search Spotify and Soundcloud for a track.
